About

Joseph Ferrara was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After graduating from Elizabeth High School, he attended Montclair State University and received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1994. Joseph then obtained his M.A. in Educational Administration in 2001 from Kean University. Mr. Ferrara’s teaching career began in 1994. After teaching middle school in Elizabeth for 8 years he became a vice-principal. He served in that capacity for eight years before arriving at Edison High School in August 2010. Joseph also coached basketball in Elizabeth for 17 years at St. Anthony’s Grammar School and St. Mary’s High School. Mr. Ferrara is married and has three children.
