Personal Finance Course Requirement Information
All public high school students in the state of New Jersey are required to have 2.5 credits of Personal Finance as part of their total credits needed to graduate. In the Edison Township schools, there are a variety of ways in which this type of elective can be satisfied by a student: a Traditional Classroom setting as part of their year's schedule or an On-line Course setting through NJ Virtual either during the summer or one of two semesters during the school year. NJ Virtual School Personal Finance Course School Year (2022-2023)
For the EHS Google application to take the NJ Virtual School Personal Finance course and have it count for the 2022-2023 school year, students should use the title link above after signing into their school Gmail account. Students will have the option of completing the EHS Google Application for the Summer 2022, Fall 2022, or Spring 2023 course. Each course period has a specific registration window for New Jersey Virtual School (www.njvs.org) and time period to complete the program.
MCC High School Scholars Program
For a listing of courses that can be taken at MCC during the summer or the school year in order to be applied towards either the VPA or 21st Century Skills elective. Each semester course counts as 2.5 EHS credits and a grade transcript must be provided to your counselor at the end of each semester.
