Academy Day 2023
The 2023 U.S. Service Academy Days will take place on both Oct. 1st (Seton Hall University, South Orange) and Oct. 7th (Waterfront Pier of Naval Weapons Station Earle in Leonardo). Every year thousands of students contact their elected representatives in order to obtain a nomination to one of the prestigious U.S. Service Academies, and many seek additional information about the process. This event will focus on the admissions process and lifestyles as Cadets or Midshipmen at one of the Service Academies. Interested students will have the opportunity to personally meet with representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and possibly someone from a local ROTC program.
IMPORTANT: In order to ensure that the naval base meets their Security Requirements, they require that all adults (18 years and older) must be vetted prior to the Oct. 7th event using the linked form SECNAV 5512, and there is a cap of 250 attendees. Please note the following:
- All highlighted blocks on the form must be filled out.
- You must fill in TWO forms of ID.
- ALL signatures and initials must be made.
- The base cannot accept photos of the form, therefore, it MUST remain in PDF format.
- Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Consortium Student Events

George Washington University
GW offers their Journey to College webpage that contains their information programs aimed at 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. These sessions are meant to help students prepare for the college exploration and application process no matter where they intend to apply!
Miami University - Bridges Program
Miami University's Bridges Program was founded 40+ years ago by Black students who wanted a Miami degree to be more accessible to students from diverse backgrounds and to ensure that their experiences there would be rewarding. The overnight program (Nov. 19th - 20th) provides high school seniors with an inside look at Miami through a variety of campus experiences where they'll engage with current students, faculty, and staff.
NACAC - National College Fair
NACAC is proud to announce that their upcoming National College Fair on Oct. 14th (11am - 3pm) will be taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hall B. This is a great opportunity for students to connect face-to-face with representatives from hundreds of colleges and universities. AMDA is proud to present their Open Houses in New York City and Los Angeles! Experience a day in the life of an AMDA student and learn more about their faculty and performing arts curriculum. Attendees will also participate in a Q&A with alumni and faculty, learn about financial aid and scholarships, and receive personalized guidance through the admission process. Boston University- Open Houses
BU will be hosting Fall Visit Day (Oct. 6th or Oct. 27th) for juniors and seniors and their families to learn more about Boston University. In the afternoon, you can grab lunch in a dining hall, tour campus, and hear from financial assistance!

Carnegie Mellon University - Engagement Opportunities

Case Western Reserve University - Virtual Opportunities
Case Western Reserve will be hosting virtual school visits and a variety of online sessions covering campus and academics for students and families, including opportunities for Q&As with current students. They also offer a virtual tour of campus. Case Western Reserve University is currently accepting student applications for their Diversity Overnight program on Nov. 12 and 13. Applications are due by Oct. 2. Diversity Overnight is designed for smart and curious high school seniors from diverse backgrounds, to give them an in-depth look at the opportunities available to our students.
City Tech (CUNY) - Virtual Information Sessions

Clark University - Virtual Opportunities
Clark University has opened for self-guided tours of Clark's campus. Learn more about the safety protocols and register here. Students can learn more and register for all of their virtual events here. Interested students can watch videos made by current Clark students and ask questions of the campus community via their ZeeMee link. Interested students are invited to come visit Clark in the fall during Clarktoberfest being held on Oct. 21st from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Students will meet faculty from academic departments across the university, hear from key staff in their Division of Student Success, and have the chance to tour a number of specialty spaces in addition to a campus tour, such as Visual and Performing Arts, Biology, Chemistry, the new Center for Multimedia Arts, Computing, and Design, and more.

The College of Saint Rose - Admissions Opportunities

Columbia University - Visiting Opportunities

Given a limited capacity, they do encourage students to take advantage of their existing virtual offerings rather than requesting individual school visits.
Commonwealth University of PA - Admissions Events

The Cooper Union - Campus Tours

Ohio State University - Open Houses
OHIO Discovery Day is an open house event designed for prospective first-year students. These one-day events are the perfect opportunity for students and their families to get an immersive look at the campus, including academics, residence life and campus organizations. The program includes a campus tour, an academic session and a resource fair. The university is offering in-person general campus tours to prospective high school juniors and seniors. Capacity is limited and only one guest is allowed per student to ensure appropriate physical distancing.

The University of Virginia School of Architecture announces their fall visit opportunities. Students can join in person for information sessions or guided tours of the A-School. Washington and Jefferson College - Virtual Admissions Tours
Washington & Jefferson College announces virtual augmented reality tours, called Uncommon Tours, for students and their families.
