NJ Division of Civil Rights - 2023-2024 Youth Ambassador Program
DCR invites young people (13-19 years old) with a passion for civil rights to apply to the 2023-2024 Youth Ambassador Program. Up to 50 New Jersey youth ambassadors will be admitted into the program. This 10-month program empowers the next generation to work to eliminate bias and discrimination in their communities. DCR offers Youth Ambassadors mentorship, education, and leadership opportunities to encourage students to act as community change agents through education on the Law Against Discrimination. Participants will attend youth ambassador bi-monthly Monday evening meetings and workshops that will be tailored to participants’ civil rights-related interests. Applications are due by Friday, September 15, 2023CLICK TO APPLY: https://form.jotform.com/231368125787161

Rutgers University - Mini-Med School at NJMS
The Program is designed for high school students who want to gain a deeper understanding of the world of Medicine; Mini-Medical School is a seven-week series of didactic sessions with medical students followed by professors of medicine and science. Each week, students are exposed to various medical education topics: cardiology, mental health, infectious diseases, oncology, orthopedics, health equity, and social justice. Participants who attend all six sessions will receive a Certificate of Achievement on Graduation Day (week seven).
