Banson NYCSummer 2022 Fashion Camps
Banson offers two In-Person Programs for high school students: Jun. 19th - Jun. 25th and Jul. 10th - Jul. 16th. They are designed for teens entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach the students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider's perspective.  They will also have three Virtual Programs: Fashion Career Camp (Jun. 26th - Jul. 1st), Closet to Concept (no sessions scheduled yet), Where Fashion Design Begins (no sessions scheduled yet).

Boston University - Summer High School Programs
Students can now apply online for the 2022 Summer Term High School Programs at Boston University, via their website. For Summer 2022, BU will be offering five pre-college programs, each of which provides rigorous and collaborative college life experiences that will enable students to gain a strong sense of their personal and academic potential.

Bucknell University - Academy Summer Experience
Bucknell Academy Summer Experience (BASE) is a collaborative residential experience where students are invited to explore the value of a liberal arts perspective in making challenging decisions to improve today’s world. BASE 2022 is geared towards rising juniors and seniors (current 10th/11th grade) and will run from June 26th to July 1st. This year’s theme is The Anthropocene: How have humans permanently changed the planet, and what do we do about it?

Carnegie Mellon University - Summer Precollege Programs
Through Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College Programs, rising juniors and seniors in high school have the opportunity to experience a diverse range of programs programs that prepare them for their upcoming college experience, help them narrow their career focus, and build critical knowledge and skills. To learn more about their programs, please register for one of their information sessions. Students may apply for the program here. Please note that an application will not be considered complete until the required number of recommendations have been received.

Case Western Reserve University - Summer Precollege Programs
Case Western Reserve University offers an online pre-college program to help students ages 13 and older explore their interests. The summer application period is now open. 

Computer Science Online - Computer Science Resources for Minorities
The Computer Science Online guide focuses on helping minority students on why they should consider getting into the field, exploring different computer science programs and colleges, and what to look for in a computer science degree. You can check out the guide via this link.

Georgetown University - Summer Precollege Program
Summer is a perfect time for motivated high school students to start thinking about college. Georgetown University’s application period for summer is now open. The online Pre-College programs help students ages 13 and older explore their interests. Through participating in these courses, students can discover if an interest could lead to a college major or even a future career.  

InvestIn - Summer Career Experiences
InvestIn summer experiences offer students aged 12-18 a 360-degree immersion into some of the world's most illustrious careers. Their summer experiences run for up to 15 days.

Landmark College - Summer Programs
Landmark invites any high school student who dreams of being a more confident and better prepared learner to explore their summer programs: High School Summer Program (July 9-30th); Summer College Readiness Program (July 17-30th); 5-Day Online Boot Camp (July 18th-22nd). Financial aid is available in most programs to qualifying students. A diagnosed learning disability is not required to participate in our summer programs.

Middlesex College (formerly MCC) - Apprenticeship Opportunities
Middlesex College is creating apprenticeship opportunities in Advanced Manufacturing through Career Advance USA, a U.S. Department of Labor funded grant. Apprenticeships, developed and implemented in collaboration with employers, are earn-and-learn programs that combine formal classroom learning with on-the-job training. MCC is offering a virtual Advanced Manufacturing Boot Camp/Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Middlesex College offers training in Allied Health careers, through the NJ HealthWorks Grant Apprenticeship program, funded by the US Department of Labor.  Successful applicants to the Apprenticeship program would receive tuition-free training, while securing employment with one of their healthcare provider employer partners. The College currently offers apprenticeships in Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Community Health Worker, Patient Care Technician, and Pharmacy Technician. 

Moore College of Art/Design - Summer Programs
MCAD has two pre-college opportunities for students who are interested in Art & Design: Summer Art and Design Institute (SADI) and Young Artists Workshop (YAW).

New Jersey Institute of Technology - Spring Courses
NJIT is proud to offer Academy College Courses for High School Students for Spring 2022! Academy College Courses at NJIT are designed for high-achieving students who want to get a jump start on their college careers. Participants earn college credits in small, customized classes taught by first-rate faculty. Classes meet on the NJIT campus on Saturdays, January 22, 2022 - May 8, 2022.

Notre Dame University - Pre-College Programs
The Office of Pre-College Programs offers high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors the opportunity to experience life as a Notre Dame student. Students can participate in seminars taught by Notre Dame professors and live in a residence hall on campus or study abroad in Italy, Ireland, or South Africa. There's also a variety of online course options for students to study in Summer 2022. 

Parsons Paris (The New School) - Summer Pre-college
Parsons Paris’ application period for summer is now open. Their online pre-college programs are targeted to assist students ages 13 and older explore their interests. Through participating in these courses, students can find out if their interests could lead to a college major or even a career. 

Rhode Island School of Design - Pre-College Programs
RISD announces the return of RISD Pre-College, their residential summer immersive (Jun. 25th - Aug. 5th). Complete and submit your Pre-College application by Dec. 1st, and attend the program, to receive a full refund on your application fee and $100 in RISD Bucks upon your arrival to campus. In addition, they offer a year-round online intensive, RISD Advanced Program Online (Mar. 5th - May 29th and Jun. 21st - Aug. 14th).

Rutgers University - Summer Program on Fundamental Physics
The Rutgers University Physics & Astronomy Department will hold a two-week, intensive program for high school students this coming summer. Students in the program will learn about current leading-edge research in fundamental physics including: cosmology, elementary particle physics, quantum computing and high energy cosmic rays. The program will run on weekdays from July 5 to July 15 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on the Rutgers Busch Campus in Piscataway. To apply, students should complete and return this application form by April 15th The program is free of charge. For more information, please contact Prof. Steve Schnetzer at steves@physics.rutgers.edu. Please note that the Rutgers Covid-19 guidelines for this coming summer are not currently known. This program is contingent upon being able to meet in person.

St. Huberts Animal Welfare Center
St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is proud to share their Virtual Career Exploration Workshop (Jan. 29th, 10 am - Noon) with interested high school students.  The workshop will take place live via ZOOM and feature expert panelists currently working in a variety of animal-related fields.  Registration is required to hold your spot: https://www.sthuberts.org/kids-camps.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ, is accepting applications for their Youth Task Force. The spring session runs January – June and allows teens, ages 15-17 the opportunity to volunteer hands on with shelter animals.  The program requires a weekly commitment over a 5-month period, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to work well independently, and with other teens.  Required tasks include fundraising, socializing with animals, taking photos, and writing animal feedback notes. At this time, the majority of openings are weekday (4:00-6:00pm) shifts. Please visit their website for details.

Stanford University - Pre-College Programs
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies strives to enhance the education of motivated, intellectually curious, pre-college students. This summer they are offering several online academic enrichment programs.

Stevens Institute of Technology 
School of Business Summer Program
The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology is offering a paid virtual summer research program (July 1st - Aug. 12th) for students currently in their junior year. In this six-week program, students will have the opportunity to work alongside a faculty member from the School of Business and assist them with research in their area of study such as entrepreneurship, marketing, management, economics, and finance.  At the conclusion of the program students will complete both a written and oral presentation.  The written report will include a literature review, and the oral presentation will include a 5-minute video of a PowerPoint presentation detailing their research findings. Students will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program. CLICK HERE for the application form.

Summer Pre-college Fair
The Association for Pre-College Program Directors is proud to present the 2021-22 Summer Pre-College Program Fairs, a series of virtual events that provide students and their families the opportunity to learn about academic summer programs at top US colleges and universities. At each fair, attendees may visit virtual booths, where you can ask questions via text or video chat with summer program representatives. Registration for the January 22nd (1-3:30 pm) fair is now open on the Virtual Fairs website. Susquehanna University
Susquehanna University's Writers Institute has an opportunity to offer high school students interested in creative writing: Apprentice Writer. Produced by their creative writing majors, this journal published work by outstanding high school writers. If students are interested in publishing in their next issue, submission guidelines can be found here. Selected writers will be chosen by a published author to receive one of six prizes — $200 prizes will be awarded for Outstanding Writer in fiction, nonfiction and poetry, as well as $50 to runners-up in each genre!

University of Delaware - Summer Precollege Program
The Edge summer college program is a three-week, credit-bearing college experience held July 10 – 30th. Edge is designed for accomplished and highly motivated high school students going into their junior and senior years. Students will take part in on- and off-campus activities and build community with students from all over the world. More information about this program, and the link to apply, can be found at udel.edu/edge.

University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign - Summer Opportunities

University of Miami - Precollege Summer Programs
Students can explore their academic passion and consider their future career opportunities when they attend University of Miami Precollege. High achieving high school sophomores and juniors can gain an authentic college experience and earn six college credits in a variety of academic areas. For students looking to gain hands-on experience in a more condensed format, they also offer two-week non-credit UM Academies open to freshman, sophomores, and juniors.

University of Rochester - Winter Pre-college Courses
The University of Rochester has a program for motivated high school students this winter break. They are offering a selection of their online courses designed for students ages 13 and older to help them prepare for college and beyond. For more information, visit the title link above. W.E.B DuBois Institute (Princeton University) - Accelerated Learning Academy
The ALA is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based program launched by the W.E.B DuBois Scholars Institute at Princeton University. This year in light of COVID-19, the program will be online, yet will still maintain forms of interactivity, STEM activities, discussions and student engagement!
