Adelphi University - Summer Pre-College Program
Applications for Adelphi University’s 2024 Summer Pre-College Program are officially open. This in-person program is open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school, and takes place from July 7-27, 2024. Both commuter and residential options are available.

American University - Summer Programs
AU offers opportunities for high school students to dive deep into their passions and learn from expert faculty. Students who want to kickstart their college experience can explore their summer programs for high school students!

Banson NYCB - Fashion Summer Camp
Banson offers two NYC Fashion Summer Camps for high school students. They are designed for teens entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach the students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider's perspective.

Beacon College - Summer Programs
Beacon College announces that applications are now open for the 2024 Summer for Success and College Edge on-campus summer programs. Beacon College's on-campus immersion programs are the premiere options for students who learn differently to explore their interests, build their academic skills, and get a taste of college life. We've made some big and exciting changes this year, including that current high school seniors are now eligible for College Edge, and the Summer for Success is exclusively for current high school sophomores and juniors.

Summer Pre-College Programs
BU will be are offering five distinct pre-college programs, each of which provides rigorous and collaborative college life experiences that will enable students to gain a strong sense of their personal and academic potential and get a glimpse of their futures: High School HonorsRISE Internship/PracticumAcademic Immersion (AIM)Summer Challenge, and Summer Preview.

Summer Journalism Academy
BU's College of Communication offers three types of courses within the Summer Journalism Academy: 

Students who apply, are accepted, and fully registered by March 8th can save $400 off the full fee for the on-campus academy or $200 off the full fee of the learn-from-home academy. They have limited need-based scholarships and financial aid available to students; students must email them for more information: busj@bu.edu

Bucknell University - Summer Experience
Bucknell Academy Summer Experience (BASE) is a collaborative residential experience where students are invited to explore the value of a liberal arts perspective in making challenging decisions to improve today’s world. At BASE, students will experience interdisciplinary study from top tier professors while challenging their thought processes. This year’s theme is To Share or Not to Share: How has media impacted society and what can we learn from it? Rising juniors and seniors are invited to apply for this program running June 23rd to 28th!

Brown University - Summer Pre-College Programs
Brown has prepared an information flyer for students to learn more about their summer pre-college program. The application for summer 2024 is open as of Jan. 17th, 2024. Along with the application for admission, applications for their Sibley Scholarship (financial aid to attend a Brown Pre-College program) will also be open as of Jan. 17th. Please note that the Sibley Scholarship application closes on Mar. 15th and funds are awarded on a first come first served basis until funds are depleted, which could occur before the scholarship application deadline. 

Carnegie Mellon University - Pre-College Programs
The application for Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College Programs is almost open, students/parents are invited to learn more about their programs and how it can help students prepare for the college experience while exploring their educational and career options. Carnegie Mellon's programs vary in length and all offer scholarships. Programs begin in June 2024. To learn more about the available programs, please register for their upcoming virtual Discover Sessions HERE. You'll have an opportunity to hear from the academic Program Directors as well as their Student Affairs staff. 

Champlain College - Summer Pre-College Programs
Champlain College offers a selection of residential credit-bearing and noncredit-bearing Pre-College Summer Programs for high school students in a variety of exciting in-demand fields. For more information and program offerings visit their website.

Columbia University - Spring and Summer Programs
In the Academic Year Weekend program (Spring 2024) at Columbia University, exceptional students (Grades 9 through 12) can prepare for the college experience through online coursework and community activities over ten weekends. Please use the code GC23 on the Additional Information page of the application to waive the application fee. Columbia University is also accepting applications for their Summer 2024 Pre-College Programs for students entering Grades 9–12 or their freshman year of college in Fall 2024. Their Early Registration deadline for Summer Programs is Feb. 1st.

Elon University - Summer Journalism Camp
Interested students are invited to apply for Elon's immersive summer experience that’s scheduled for June 17-28. This on-campus residential learning workshop is open to rising seniors from diverse socio-economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds. And, it’s completely free, thanks to a generous grant from the Scripps Howard Fund. EJP pays for students’ travel, lodging, meals and instructional materials.

Fordham University - Summer Leaders Academy
Fordham's Summer Leaders Academy is an immersive pre-college program that offers innovative academic courses, along with activities. With on-campus housing and commuter options available, this pre-college program is crafted to redefine the summer and set the stage for students' future success. Interested students can join a virtual info session on  Jan. 31st at 6:00 PM Eastern to learn more.

Georgetown University - Summer Pre-College Programs
Georgetown University’s application period for summer is now open. The online pre-college programs help students ages 13 and older explore their interests. Through participating in these courses, students can discover if an interest could lead to a college major or even a future career.

Lebanon Valley College - Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer Program
The Lebanon Valley College Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer Program will be held at Lebanon Valley College from July 22-27, 2024!  We are happy to welcome rising High School freshmen-graduating seniors.  The registration portal for the camp is now open and can be found at the Camp website (Health and Biomedical Sciences Summer Program).  Because space is limited, and we anticipate the program will fill quickly, we recommend that students submit their registration as soon as possible to secure a slot.

Lehigh University - Summer Program
Lehigh is accepting applications from current high school sophomores and juniors for their Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive (IGEI). More information can be found via the following link.

New Jersey Leadership Program - Summer Fellowship Program 2024
The New Jersey Leadership Program (NJLP) has opened 2024 Summer Fellowship Program applications. The fellowship program, which is entering its eighth year, seeks to introduce New Jersey-based South Asian youth to government and politics. The NJLP Summer Fellowship Program is a six-week program in which high school and college students of South Asian background are placed in internships with legislative and other government offices. The Fellowship Program hosts a weekly speakership series with elected officials, senior government staffers, journalists, non-profit leaders, and others. More information about the NJLP Summer Fellowship Program can be found at www.njlead.org

Pratt Institute - Pre-College Programs (Winter, Spring, Summer)
Pratt invites students to take advantage of their PreCollege Program to get ahead and gain art/design skills while earning college credit at Pratt Institute - whether on the Brooklyn campus, at the Chelsea location in Manhattan, or remotely from the comfort of their homes. Pratt PreCollege is where high school artists, designers, and architects can begin to develop or further sharpen their skills and creative voice; as well as prepare portfolio pieces for admission to the college of choice.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - 2024  PREFACE is a summer program for talented students who have been historically under-represented in science, engineering, and the technological fields, and who express a strong, early interest in pursuing careers in these areas. This year’s program will take place in-person, Sunday, July 28 through Saturday, August 10, 2024 (2 weeks), on the Rensselaer campus in Troy, NY. The PREFACE Program is for students who will be entering the 11th or 12th grade in the fall. Interested candidates should review the information on the PREFACE website and complete the online application.

Rhode Island School of Design - Summer Pre-College Programs
This summer, follow a college-level curriculum in the format that works for you with Pre-Collegiate Programs at RISD. Their residential Pre-College program allows you to live like a RISD student and work alongside hundreds of other creative, highly motivated students who will inspire you to push your limits and produce your best work. Rustic Pathways - Climate Leaders Fellowship
Rustic Pathways is now accepting applications for the 6th cycle of the Climate Leaders Fellowship! This is a free opportunity for students to make a real difference in their communities and reduce the impact of climate change.  Plus, the work students do for the Fellowship counts as community service hours towards the Presidential Volunteer Service Award! Check out guest posts, articles, media features and videos of past students' work here. The program runs from March 1 – April 30, 2024, and the deadline to apply is February 4, 2024.

The Rutgers Health Service Corps (RHSC) is inviting you to apply for the Population Health Outreach and Education for Next Generation Impact and eXCELLENCE (PHOENIX) Program. This one-week summer program, which will be held in-person from 9 AM - 3 PM on July 22-26, 2024 at the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) - located on the Rutgers University RBHS Newark Campus, aims to introduce high school students to the health professions, population health, community service, and RHSC. The Program concludes with participants receiving a certificate of completion and a formal invitation to join the Rutgers Health Service Corps. Application Deadline: March 10, 2024 Applicants will receive a response no later than: April 1, 2024. 

Rutgers TARGET is a summer program designed for middle school and high school students to increase awareness and familiarize them with career opportunities within engineering. The program also seeks to eradicate the negative stereotypes commonly associated with women’s ability to pursue careers in math and science related fields. TARGET sessions are each one-week long and age-specific. Program leaders are School of Engineering student mentors and faculty members who facilitate workshops, hands-on activities, labs and projects for participants to learn more about the many different engineering disciplines. Sessions are held on the Busch campus from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Transportation must be provided by the participant’s family. Lunch and two snacks are provided by the program daily. St. Hubert's Animal Shelter - Veterinary Medicine Careers Exploration

Smith College - Pre-college Programs

Stanford University - Summer Pre-Collegiate Studies
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies strives to enhance the education of motivated, intellectually curious, pre-college students. This summer, they are offering several online and residential academic enrichment programs. Further information can be found on their website on flyer.

Stevens Institute of Technology - Summer Pre-College Programs

United States Naval Academy - Summer Seminar and Summer Stem Programs
Applications for United States Naval Academy Naval Academy Summer Seminar and Summer STEM Programs are now available. These programs are a great opportunity for students to learn about the Naval Academy or visit Annapolis, Maryland for a vibrant week of problem-solving, exploratory learning, critical thinking, and team building. University of Massachusetts-Amherst  - Summer Pre-College Programs
U Mass-Amherst is now accepting applications for their Summer Pre-College Programs. Rising 10th - 12th graders in high school are eligible to apply. Applications are done through their website. Apply by March 15th and waive the $35 application fee by using the code: EarlyBird24. Each session has their own deadline:

  • Session 1 (Programs starting June 30): May 1st, 2024
  • Session 2 (Programs starting July 14): May 15th, 2024
  • Session 3 (Programs starting July 28): May 31st, 2024

University of Miami - Pre-College Summer Programs
Pre-College Summer Programs at the University of Miami are open to first-year, sophomores, and juniors. These two-week and three-week programs offer immersive learning experiences and an introduction to college life. Students can choose from a wide range of academic specialties in the fields of healthcare and medicine, engineering, technology, business, communication and media, marine science, and so much more. Please click here for more information on scholarship opportunities.  Students who meet the requirements for our need-based scholarship may also qualify for application fee reduction waivers.

Summer Science Camps
Virginia Tech is offering several science camps this summer: Explore Science for rising 9th/10th graders (Microbiology, neuroscience, physics, nanoscience, psychology, coding, game-o-nomics, and more); Explore Data Science for rising 11th/12th graders (Statapult-catapults, coding, data ethics, molecular modeling, disease surveillance, game theory, career exploration, and more); Explore Physical Sciences for rising 11th/12th graders (Solar energy, nanoscience, GPS and modeling, physics and astronomy, biochemistry, geophysical methods to study the critical zone, career exploration, and more); Explore Life Sciences for rising 11th/12th graders (Neuroscience, nanomedicine, ecology, chemical biology, emerging diseases, bioinformatics, ancient life forms, career exploration, and more).

W.E.B DuBois Scholars Institute (Princeton University) - Advanced Learning Academy
Launched by the W.E.B. Du Bois Scholars Institute at Princeton University is the Accelerated Learning Academy (ALA) STEM Program for 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th graders.  Students who have demonstrated an interest in STEM are encouraged to apply for the program.

Wake Forest University - Pre-College Summer Program
Wake Forest University offers pre-college online courses to help students ages 13 and older explore their interests. The summer application period is now open. Through participating in their courses, students can discover if an interest could lead to a college major or even a future career.

West Point Academy - Summer Leaders Leadership Experience
The United States Military Academy has opened the application for interested students to attend the West Point Summer Leadership Experience (SLE) during the first two weeks of June (PDF attached). Our priority application deadline for SLE is the following Friday on March 15th and we will accept applications until April 15th. SLE is competitive and not all who apply are offered to attend. Wilkes University - Virtual Summer Pharmacy Experience
Students considering a major in pharmacy can learn more at RxExperience, a four-day virtual camp, offered by Wilkes University’s Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. The camp will be offered once a week, via Zoom on Wednesday evenings, March 13th to April 3rd. High school students will get a behind-the-scenes look at pharmacy through educational sessions and fun, hands-on lab activities, all from the comfort of their own home!  Additionally, high schoolers will learn how to prepare for and apply to the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy, get a glimpse at life as a pharmacy student at Wilkes and hear about the variety of rewarding career paths available to pharmacists. Students can register now; space is limited!

William and Mary College - Pre-College Summer Program

Worchester Polytechnic Institute - Summer Programs
Frontiers is a two-week residential program where students get a sense of a WPI education. Participants will have a STEM major and humanities, arts, or business minor. Two sessions are available for students: Frontiers I (July 7th - 19th) and Frontiers II (July 21st - Aug. 2nd). Launch is a one-week (June 24th - 28th) commuter program for rising 9, 10 & 11th grade students who are interested in taking a hands-on approach to exploring STEM. Students will select a topic of their choice to study in-depth for the full week.

College Credit Jumpstart is a pre-college summer program designed for rising 11th & 12th graders who are interested in earning college credit and experiencing an academically fulfilling WPI college course. The five week courses are taught entirely online, so they can be completed from anywhere! Some courses are taught live while others allow you to go at your own pace. Students will also have access to tutoring throughout the program.
