Counseling Department!

This website is designed to assist Edison High School students, parents, and interested community members in staying up-to-date on the various programs and services provided by the counseling staff at Edison High School. Please take a look at our important links and recent news and updates!

Congratulations! The following students are one of the 50,000 highest-scoring participants of some 1.3 million program entrants who have met the requirements to enter the 2025 National Merit Scholarship. Of the 50,000 high scorers, about 16,000 will be named National Merit Program Semifinalists, representing the top scorers in each state and approximately 34,000 others will be commended for their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. Semifinalists and Commended Students in this year’s 2025 National Merit Program will learn of their standing in September.  Semifinalists will be the only students who will have the opportunity to continue in the competition for about 8,300 National Merit Scholarships to be offered in 2025.

PATH Introduction

EHS' Newest Counselor - Ms. Danielle Brown

Hello! My name is Ms. Danielle Brown and I am excited to join the counseling team at Edison High School. I studied Sociology at Montclair State University and School Counseling at Seton Hall University. The most rewarding part of being a school counselor is the relationships I build with students and families as well as seeing students achieve their goals. I look forward to working with you!
